The room is on the 1st floor of a Vosges house with local character (a former haberdashery built in 1914), the owner's main residence. It has two single beds (90x200 cm), a bathroom with a small bath, shower cubicle and washbasin, and a WC. You will also have access to an open-plan living area with a balcony. Enjoy the outdoors: garden furniture, sun loungers and an open garden in spring and summer in a 1,000 m² orchard. A varied, gourmet French-style breakfast is served every morning from 8:00 to 9:30. (bread/ pastries/ cereals/ butter/ jam/ orange juice/ milk/ coffee/ tea/ chocolate) Shops and amenities are nearby, in the centre of the village. Ideally situated on the Saint-Dié-des-Vosges / Colmar route, the room is close to the Col du Bonhomme, Gérardmer, La Bresse, Lac Blanc, Xonrupt-Longemer, Le Hohneck and La Schlucht, as well as the 3 local ski resorts (downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, snowshoeing). You can also take advantage of visits and tastings of regional products, including the Hautes Vosges confectionery located in the village. Hiking, cycling and motorcycling enthusiasts will love the many tourist routes, signposted footpaths and green cycle path. An aquatic centre with spa is also nearby. For bikers and cyclists, there is private enclosed parking, bike storage and a garage for motorbikes. Free activities on site, accompanied by the owner on request: mountain walks between the Vosges and Alsace on signposted tourist routes, motorbike or Spyder Can-Am road trips on the Vosges / Alsace tourist routes. Bed linen and towels are provided. Baby facilities: cot, changing table and high chair available. Weekday and weekend rentals available: arrival from 3pm, departure at 10am.
